Dr. Justin Manjourides is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Public Health and Health Sciences at Northeastern University.
Dr. Manjourides helps cultivate the next generation of real-world evidence (RWE) and population health researchers.
His leadership in RWE includes directing the MS in RWE program and advising several Population Health PhD students. He also co-leads the Data Modeling and Analytics Cores for the PROTECT and ECHO Centers at Northeastern, two centers dedicated to studying the links between exposures to environmental contamination and adverse birth and child development outcomes.
His methodological research into novel statistical techniques has generally revolved around improving how missing or mismeasured data can be appropriately considered in complex statistical analyses. In all his work, he thoughtfully blends classical statistical models with modern computational methods, such as machine learning and AI, to analyze large and complex datasets efficiently and, more importantly, appropriately.
Dr. Manjourides earned a BS in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Florida in 2004 and his PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University in 2009.
